This was a huge "first" for Emma! She has never competed in a sport AND has never had 100 people screaming/cheering for her. She, however, swam in the first meet of the season last night. She was (to put it lightly) TERRIFIED! BUT, she jumped in and swam fast and furious!! She may be a little traumatized...the first words out of her mouth were..I DO NOT LIKE SWIM MEETS! We are soo proud of her!!!

EMMA! I'm so proud of you!!! YOu look like sucha grown up girl in the pictures. The bathing suits are really neat! PopPop is proud of you, too. Swimming is a good sport and it is fun to be with all the girls. Lots of love, NanaBanana
