dirt, TV and swimming

I've decided that my kids need to live in the country. Graham and Charlie's new favorite thing to do it dig in the dirt. BUT...we don't have any! So, as you can see, I've given up my flower bed for them to have some DIRT! Graham works so hard! He is seriously gonna make a good yard helper when he's older. But for now, he's just wrecking it. Oh well, he's happy, so we're happy!

Anyone who spends ANY time at our house will be happy to hear that we FINALLY got
a new TV. The one we were using was from Paris and we bought it in 2001. It was some "special" tv that could be used in other countries. The remote didn't work and the thing was just plain small. We upgraded last night to our first "BIG" tv. We came home and immediately watched Mariposa (the newest Barbie movie). Our neighbor, Malia, used to babysit for us but she said she just couldn't take the TV anymore...:)jk! Malia, come back!

Next adventure...we visited the community pool today. The boys were confused because we always ride by the neighborhood pool and Charlie loves to say, "pool closed, cooolllddd". So, I tried to explain to them that this pool was in a big building in a BIG BUBBLE. Well, this completely Freaked Graham out. He screamed , "I don't want a bubble bath!" He held onto my leg and screamed while going inside. Charlie jumped right in. It took Graham about 5 minutes of saying, "Dis bubble scar me!", and he finally got in. They had a blast...so much that they wouldn't get out. I almost had to go in after them! Unfortunately, I left their pants on the kitchen table at home...so the poor things walked out with sweatshirts and shoes on. Their little legs were cold. Graham kept yelling, "I need my banket, I need my banket!" We sure are looking forward to summer and WARM weather...

.

I just went over to take a picture of the new tv and I found graham asleep on the couch (this has never happened so I thought he was...hurt or something), then I looked over and Charlie was asleep too. Neither one of them has EVER fallen asleep on the couch. I guess swimming wore them out. Yess!
