Today Charlie had his tonsils and adenoids removed. He did well and is at home now. He has eaten at least 10 Popsicles since he got home...which is much better than Graham did. He just keeps saying he does NOT like that hospital! Poor kid. He woke up from the anesthesia pretty combative . He was thrashing and almost launched himself out of the bed. I basically told the nurse that I had just gone through this a few weeks ago, so thanks for all the instructions but WE ARE LEAVING! All he wanted was to get out of there! He has been sleeping and relaxing on and off all day watching the old cartoons that I used to watch...Popeye, the Jetsons, the Flintstones and Yogi Bear. Of course, the peace doesn't last too long....Graham went out to the porch and got a long splinter in his foot. Fortunately it was so big, it was easy to pull out. He is now eating a popsicle because his foot is "sick"! Hoping we all have a restful night!

glad everything went okay today. been thinking about you. would call but i still have that killer sore throat and it hurts too much to talk. charlie, can i borrow some of your popsicles? please? you look very cute, by the way...
yea, charlie! so glad the popsicles are doing you right!...glad he is handleing it a little better than g did!
